I was in college, studying film photography. And not portraiture like you might expect; but concepts, lighting, and color, and how to put it all together to make art. I can honestly say that wedding photography was never on my radar.
Unexpectedly one summer, a friend asked me if I’d photograph her sister’s wedding reception. So in 2010, I bought my first professional digital camera and stepped excitedly, and nervously, into the unknown.
I fell in love with photographing weddings that day, recording the connections between loved ones. It’s really an honor to get a glimpse into the lives of others in that way — to see what means the most to you, and how you celebrate it. I’m so grateful to all those who have trusted me with their memories over the years.
Whether it’s your wedding day, growing your family, or launching your brand, I believe in the value of having that story told in a unique and beautiful way. Your story may be full of quiet moments, a grand adventure, or something in between. I’m here for all of it, because what matters most is how you connect with each other, and with your world.
That’s the story I want to tell.
